Ingredients

8 (1/2 inch thick) Boneless Pork Chops
2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Course Ground Pepper
1/4 c. Olive Oil
2 tbsp. Butter
2 tbsp. Galic, minced
8 oz. Fresh Mushrooms, sliced
3 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice, about 1 lemon
2 c. Riseling Wine
3/4 c. Chicken or Vegetable Broth
3/4 c. Whipping Cream

Cooking Directions

1.
Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil and butter on medium heat in a heavy sautè pan.
3.
Brown pork chops on both sides.
4.
Remove chops from pan and set aside.
5.
Reduce heat, and add garlic, stirring about 2 minutes.
6.
Add mushrooms to garlic and continue cooking about 5 minutes.
7.
Add lemon juice, Riesling, and broth.
8.
Bring to a gentle boil and return meat to pan.
9.
Cover and simmer low until meat is tender, about 30-40 minutes.
10.
When meat is done, add whipping cream and continue cooking on low until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes.
11.
Serve over mashed potatoes or pasta.
